Oh, Yes They Did! Olympic Edition 10/13/08

Jeah jeah jeah! Thanks to everyone who listened in tonight to the premier show of "Oh, Yes They Did!" Here is the playlist from tonight's show

Tonight was all about our Olympic obsessions. We talked about
Phelps and of course, Reezy. Not only did we talk about Reezy -we had a very special 'JEAH!' sound effect that made it's way into the show and did a special theatrical reading of his blog.

We also played a little snippit of "The World According to Lochte;" that wonderful NBC produced profile that played during the Olympics (which can be found in HQ here.) In addition we played a little bit of Out of the Pool in which Ryan gives us a tour of his lovely home, cribs style (tap tap MAGIC.) Just in case you didn't know, his room is the master bedroom. We literally presented some breaking news on the show. Our program director informed us that while in High school her friend was invited by none other than golden boy Michael Phelps to see his Escalade. This trip "escaladed" into her giving him a BJ. She is now a lesbian. NO LIES.

Of course, no Olympic show would be complete without a discussion about the OTP that is Phlochte. Everyone knows that Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte are meant to be but the ladies of OYTD were concerned about the fact that Phelps has been slutting it up with some of the other swimmers (as evidence by pictures of him with Erik Vendt and Garrett Weber-Gale at the White House.) Get it together Michael! You can't expect a catch like Ryan to wait around forever! They seem so in love in Olympic Slash... I just don't understand..

sigh... remember the good times?

We also discussed our infatuation with Gossip Girl and Valeria's love for Ed Westwick. GG was filming in New York this week and it just so happened that Candace was home for the holiday weekend. She snuck a peak at Leighton Meester (and some other people we don't really care about) filming some scenes for the show. Just so you know, Leighton Meester is FLAWLESS in person. Girl is fierce.

In other news, Valeria was presented with a very special gift during today's show - a vintage style Olympic t shirt to match Candace's.
