Since Phlochte seems to be a popular topic as of late, I thought it seemed appropriate. I'm also a big fan of macros and shameless self promotion. What do you guys think?

If any of you make/find any great Phelps or Reezy macros please post them in the comment section because I absolutely love them.

I think my love of Macros really started with the discovery of lolcats. I can't explain why I love them so much (I really don't like cats at all) but something about those darn lolcats is so ridiculous that it could make even the most cold, cavernous ice-box-where-your-heart-should-be bastard bowl over with laughter. I have to say, though, that some people REALLY drop the ball with lolcats. Some people just aren't funny and not all cats are lolcat worthy! Just because you have a cat and access to a computer doesn't mean you can or should make a lolcat - just saying.

I'm also quite partial to the Obama macros that have been popping up lately. There's a great one of him watching Hillary clinton on TV, and the one below is one that Valeria and I reference all the time.

Bottom line - if the picture is good (some pictures are begging to be made into macros) and you're actually clever, macro it up! On the other hand, If you think you're clever but nobody ever seems to get your jokes.. maybe macros aren't for you. Or if you only make lolcats because you just happen to own 40 cats... maybe rethink it. I'm sure your 40 cats think you're funny but the rest of us really don't.

You can try your hand at macros on roflbot where you can upload a picture and add text or, if you're a pro, let the site pick a random picture for you and come up with something clever on the spot.

Kind of off but still on topic, I think my mom has a crush on Ryan Lochte. Yup, I said it.
